The Safety Kid program is a 45 minute presentation available to elementary and middle schools, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, community organizations and businesses to educate and entertain children of all ages.
The Safety Kid program features "Safety Sam", the remote controlled, variable speed robot that loves to tell stories and sing songs while educating kids on important issues. The program is tailored to deliver strong messages, instruction and training on the 5 Safe Kid Rules:
- Alcohol and drugs are not safe
- Always wear a bike helmet
- Always wear a seat belt
- Stop! Look! and Listen!
- Beware of Strangers
The Safety Kid program will be available beginning the 2005-2006 school year.

The Safety Kid program includes activity books, posters and lesson sheets to be used in the classroom to reinforce his messages.
