DUI Victims
Memorial Garden |

“Never a Day Passes That We Do Not Remember”
Pennsylvania’s first statewide DUI Victims’ Memorial Park was dedicated on October 2, 2003. The Park is located in front of the Pennsylvania DUI Association’s headquarters on Front Street in Harrisburg and overlooks the Susquehanna River. As the name implies this garden honors and remembers the 500 plus Pennsylvanians who are needlessly killed every year in drunk driving crashes. The garden incorporates bricks, pavers, benches, trees, shrubs and an abundance of flowering plants to create a beautiful and serene setting. Eventually, all of the bricks in the courtyard will be carved with the names of DUI victims.

The DUI Victims’ Memorial Park is a place where Pennsylvanians can remember and honor their loved ones by arranging to have an engraved brick placed in the garden.
Last year, 545 Pennsylvanians lost their lives to drunk driving. More than 10,529 Pennsylvanians are injured each year in alcohol-related crashes. These tragedies devastate the lives of tens of thousands of friends, relatives, neighbors and coworkers.
The DUI Victims' Memorial Park was developed by the Pennsylvania DUI Association, MADD Pennsylvania and corporate sponsors. It is open to visitors 365 days a year and is located at 2413 N. Front Street in Harrisburg.
